Train + Learn

Physical courses & practical training

Experience that connects fieldwork, visual communication & learning

I am Rohail Khalid, a Sub-Engineer (Civil), surveyor, 3D animator, graphic designer and practical trainer with professional experience since 2011. My work covers topographic survey, technical mapping, 2D and 3D plans, visualisation and graphic design. I help turn complex site information and ideas into drawings and visuals that are easier to understand and use.

I also provide hands-on training with Dumpy Level, Total Station, GPS and DGPS, plus physical mapping courses covering AutoCAD, CAD-Earth, Google Earth, topographic maps, contour maps and the layouts I prepare. My eBooks support practical learning; construction-site training for newcomers depends on a suitable site and supervision.

The project or training scope, requirements, responsible team, fees and schedule are agreed before work begins. All enquiries are handled by Pulse Hatch.

Practical training & physical courses

Learn the instruments and mapping workflows I use in practice. Physical, hands-on courses are available by arrangement; contact Pulse Hatch for the location, schedule, fee and prerequisites.

Survey instrument training

Practical learning with Dumpy Level, Total Station, GPS and DGPS: instrument setup, levelling, taking measurements, recording field data and preparing it for the next stage.

AutoCAD & georeferenced mapping

Learn AutoCAD with the CAD-Earth extension, Google Earth mapping and georeferenced drawing workflows. Training covers the types of maps I prepare, including topographic maps, contour maps, cross-sections, site layouts and irrigation layouts.

Construction-site learning

Newcomers can enquire about practical building-construction learning and internship-style exposure on an active house-building project, when a suitable site is available. Topics and access depend on the construction stage, site permission, supervision and safety arrangements.

This is an enquiry opportunity, not a guaranteed placement, employment offer or accredited qualification.

My eBooks & learning resources

I have authored eBooks and practical learning materials. Contact Pulse Hatch for the available titles, topic coverage, sample pages, price and delivery arrangements. The collection will be offered through this website.
